Birth control and my weekend

Went to the doctors for clomid on Thursday and found out I still have a cyst on my left ovary. It did not shrink or grow... it's still 16 mm. Ughhh! The nurse practitioner (NP) suggested I try birth control this month to shrink it. I've never been on birth control but so far so good.

I was extremely upset when I heard the news. The NP said she did not understand why I was not getting pregnant... so heart breaking. I did a whole bunch of blood work in day 3 of my cycle (Friday) so we will see if the tests tell us anything. Part of me hopes we find something because I feel like we are beating our head against a wall without knowing why.

So, Thursday was disappointing but the weekend was fun! My mom came up and we did some Christmas decor shopping. Got some great stuff.

We also went and saw the Broadway musical Memphis. It was really good. Our next show is Peter Pan!

Today, wifey and I went out to breakfast, Costco (dog food only) and Joann's Fabric. While we were at Joann's I saw the blogger from In Pursuit of Giggles, but I was to shy to introduce myself. I felt a little star struck... their baby was so cute too!

Now we are watching football, dogs asleep, and enjoying this beautiful fall day!

March 19, 2012 - Started clomid for try #5
March 30, 2012 - Accupunture appointment and IUI #5
April 13, 2012 - Aunt Flo arrived - BFN!!
April 17, 2012 - Start clomid for try #6
April 26, 2012 - Positive OPK. Ultrasound showed linning at 11 and two follicles - one at 24 and one at 18
April 27, 2012 - IUI #6 (Pre and Post Acupuncture)
April 28, 2012 - BIRTHDAY - BIG 3-0
May 11, 2012 - Took HPT = BFN
May 12, 2012 - Aunt Flo arrived
May 16, 2012 - Start clomid for try #7 and ordered 2 vials of our donor
May 26, 2012 - IUI #7
June 8, 2012 - Took HPT = BFN
June 9, 2012 - Aunt Flo arrived
June 13, 2012 - Started clomid for try #8
June 22, 2012 - Checked lining and follicles - lining was at an 8 and two follicles... I think they were 18 and 20.
June 22, 2012 - Positive OPK and trigger shot
June 23, 2012 - IUI #8
July 5, 2012 - 6 month check up of thyroid...TSH is up (4.41)
July 8, 2012 - Took HPT = BFN. Aunt Flo arrived later in the afternoon.
July 9, 2012 - Checked with Doctor why TSH went up from Jan at .67 t0 4.41. She said it could be a numbr of reasons. Decided to re-do blood work.
July 12, 2012 - TSH is at 1.77 not a 4.41. Not sure why we are not getting pregnant.
On a break.
September 18, 2012 - IUI #9 with clomid
October 2012 - BFN #9. Discovered cyst and have to wait this cycle out.
November 2012 - Cyst is still present. NP puts me on birthh control.
November 29, 2012 - Cyst is gone and we are ready to try again. Take clomid. Also discuss possible double IUI.

December 12, 2012 - IUI #11
December 25, 2012 - Merry Christmas to me... Aunt Flo arrived!
